ABOUT US
Eltham Child Care Cooperative is a community-based, parent-run, non-profit centre located in the Melbourne's outer east, operating since 1986. We are registered as a charity and governed by parents with the support of Nillumbik Shire Council for the benefit of the local community.

We provide childcare and education to children from birth to six years in a truly inclusive environment. We offer equal opportunities for all children and their families, embracing their cultures, unique personalities and varying needs.
Eltham Child Care Cooperative delivers the highest quality of care, as recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Assessment Authority. In April 2023, the Service was again awarded Exceeding National Quality Standard status for exceeding all seven standards.
The Educators at ECCC are highly trained Early Childhood Professionals with a wide variety of strengths and backgrounds, ECCC Educators undertake regular professional development and training. All our educators have a passion for providing supportive and nurturing environments for children and families and respect that each learning journey is unique and precious.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, Traditional Custodians of the land on which Eltham Childcare Cooperative sits, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
